Toney Anthony was born February 11, 1968 in Birmingham, Alabama to Harold and Jessie Johnson.Toney received his education in the public schools of Alabama and was a graduate of the Minor High School. Furthering his education, he enrolled in Miles College. He enlisted in the United States Navy where he achieved the rank of Petty Officer Second Class (PO2). He received numerous service medals to include Naval Parachutist and the Kuwait Liberation Medal. After serving 12 years with the Navy and an honorable discharge, Toney joined the Department of the Army Reginal Network Enterprise Team where he served as Chief of the Network Infrastructure Division at Fort Campbell, Kentucky.He was a devoted husband, son, brother, uncle, cousin who enjoyed spending time with family and friends. All who knew and loved him will sorely miss his presence.On Monday, December 4, 2017, Toney entered into eternal peace.He leaves to cherish precious memories his loving and devoted wife, Paula S. Williams-Johnson, Clarksville, TN. His parents, Harold and Jessie Johnson, Birmingham, AL; step-sons: Chris Atkinson, Tristen Atkinson and Brandon Julius; four grandchildren; brother, Timothy Johnson, Birmingham, AL and sisters: Tracy Johnson, Tamika Jackson, Tiffany Johnson-Gray and Benita Hampton-Wright, all of Birmingham, AL; a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends.
