Salma Denise Glimps

Visitation Friday, November 22, 2019 11:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m. at Immanuel Missionary Baptist Church with funeral service to follow at 12:00 p.m. Interment Greenwood Cemetery. Mrs. Salma Denise Glimps affectionately known as Nises was born on February 6, 1958 in Nashville, TN to the proud parents of mother Mrs. Orline Shaw- Lewis and father Mr. Robert  Sam Newman. She is preceded in death by her husband, Robert Glimps, Jr and her father. She leaves to cherish her memories; two devoted sons Robert (Juanita) Shaw and Brandon Glimps,  mother Orline Shaw Lewis, sisters Catrena (Gordon) Thomas, Valerie Shaw, Sheila Jones, Sharon (Travis) Hester, brothers Nathaniel (Delores) Shaw and Michael Shaw, Faurrunti (Tane) (Lynnettea) Newman ; aunts: Sara Leek,  Pearline Smith, Ella Garrett, Deborah Nichols,uncle: Tyrone Garrett; brothers and sister in laws: Robin Glimps, Maurice (Vanail) Glimps, Darrell O.
