Robin Oliver

Robin Denise, the only child of Bessie Mae Lindler Howard and Clarence Howard, began her earthly journey on Wednesday, June 24, 1959 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Her parents preceded her in death.

She gave her life to Christ at an early age and was a faithful member of First Missionary Baptist Church where she served as a member of the Church Board and sound technician.

Robin received her education in the New Jersey Public School System where she graduated from Willingboro High School, Class of 1977. She furthered her education by earning a Bachelor’s Degree from Syracuse University and a Master’s Degree from Rutgers University. She enjoyed employment with Power and Grace Preparatory Academy as a Social Worker, retiring in November 2024 after many years of dedicated service.

On June 14, 1980, Robin united in holy matrimony with the love of her life, Derrick Edmund Oliver and this union was blessed with two sons.

Robin D. Oliver, LAPSW and Dr. Prichard MD, accomplished authors of the book “JUBALI and the Quest for the Golden Crown” in which the students of Power and Grace Preparatory Academy acted out the book in a play. Robin also wrote several books with our Voices A D-9 Anthology and Voices of my Sisters, an Anthology. Robin also gathered poems from all of the students at Power and Grace Preparatory Academy, assembled them in a book called “Out of the Mouth of BABES” which made each student an accomplished author and the book can be purchased online.

On Saturday, January 4, 2025, at 9:57 a.m., Robin Denise Howard Oliver was called home by our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
