Reginald Lee, son to Beatrice “BJ” Metcalfe and Minnie Thomas Metcalfe, began his earthly journey on August 5, 1953 in Clarksville, Tennessee. His parents and brothers, Thomas Metcalfe and Alan Metcalfe preceded him in death.
He accepted Christ as his personal Lord and Savior at an early age. He was a member of Bethel Apostolic Temple faithfully serving in the Men’s Auxiliary and Men’s Choir.
Reginald received his education in the Clarksville-Montgomery County School System, and he was a 1971 graduate of Clarksville High School. Furthering his education, he attended Bowling Green Welding Trade School and received a Certificate of Completion. Utilizing his training, he was employed with Trane Air Conditioning Company as a machine operator and after many years of employment, he retired in 2007. He was a member of Trane Retiree Breakfast Club and Nightstalker’s Motorcycle Club.
On April 29, 1978, he united in holy matrimony with Sue Yarbrough and they were the proud parents of a son.
Affectionately called “Reggie” by family and friends, he was a teacher at heart. When he talked to you, he truly was instructing you, never giving a simple answer. He was a gentle man, compassionate and giving, caregiver to his elderly father and aunt before their passing. He loved his grandchildren and enjoyed taking them to parks and carnivals, motorcycle riding, listening to music, playing piano in numerous bands, and writing songs. He also enjoyed going to car shows and motorcycle meets. All who knew and loved him will sorely miss his presence.
On April 11, 2020, Reggie departed this earthly life to be with the Lord.
