Patsy Ann Dowlen, age 72 of Springfield, passed away Friday, March 15, 2019. Visitation Friday, March 22, 2019 1:00 p.m.-7:00 p.m. with the family present 5:00 p.m.7-:00 p.m. at St. James Missionary Baptist Church, Cedar Hill. Funeral service 11:00 a.m. Saturday, March 23, 2019 at St. James Missionary Baptist Church, Cedar Hill. Interment Restlawn Cemetery. She was born October 14, 1946 in Sandy Springs, TN to Willie Fort and Cora Frazier Fort. She was a member of Antioch Missionary Baptist Church. She is preceded in death by her children, Willie Davis Dowlen, Sr and Sabrina Paulette Dowlen, grandson, Willie Davis Dowlen, Jr and great granddaughter, La Coria Ke'lay Suggs, sister, Janice Marie Darden, brother, Danny Edward Fort and her parents. She leaves to cherish her memories husband, Willie Herman Dowlen; daughter, Sandra D. (Cantrell) Sherrod all of Springfield, TN; sister, Linda K. (William) Johnson; sisters-in-law, Gwen Smith and Mattie Frances Brown; brothers-in-law, Frank (Waulnetta) Dowlen, James Dowlen, Sr, Donnie Dowlen and Ronnie (Michelle) Dowlen and 9 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren and a host of family and friends.
