Mrs. Clayte Mallory

Mrs. Clayte Mallory age 95 of Clarksville went to be with the Lord Saturday, March 11, 2023. Visitation Thursday, March 16, 2023, 12:00 p.m.-7:00 p.m. with the family present 5:00 p.m.-7:00 p.m. at Foston Funeral Home. Homegoing Celebration 12:00 p.m. Friday, March 17, 2023, at Fifth Ward Missionary Baptist Church. Interment Resthaven Memorial Garden.
Mrs. Clayte was born January 1, 1928 in Charlotte, TN to Babe Nesbitt and Pearl Edmondson. She was a 1947 graduate of Historic Burt High School and a faithful member of Fifth Ward Missionary Baptist Church where she served on the Mothers Board. Mrs. Clayte was a Foster Grandparent with the Clarksville Montgomery County School System. She is preceded in death by her husband Lloyd "L.D." Mallory and her parents.
Left to cherish her memory are her loving and devoted daughter, Deborah (devoted son-in-law John) Hollingsworth; grandchildren: JaNay Hollingsworth and John Hollingsworth, Jr.; great-grandchildren: Kaleah Hollingsworth and Naomi Hollingsworth; sisters, Kathy Stone, Columbus, OH and Nina (Arnold) Tolbert, New Castle, DE; sister-in-law, Wilma Blackman. Nashville, TN a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, family, friends and her Fifth Ward Church Family.
