Clarksville – Age 55 of Clarksville passed away Tuesday, January 29, 2019. Visitation Wednesday, February 6, 2019 12:00 p.m.-7:00p.m. with the family present 5:00 p.m.-7:00 p.m. at Foston Funeral Home. Funeral service 11:00 a.m. Thursday, February 7, 2019 at Walnut Grove Missionary Baptist Church. Interment Rossview Cemetery. He was born March 27, 1963 to Robert Lee Rives and Carrie Ligon Rives. He is preceded in death by his father, sister, Catherine Bingley and brother, James Jackson. He was a member of New Hope Missionary Baptist Church and a graduate of Clarksville High School class of 1981. He was employed with Clarksville Fire and Rescue. He leaves to cherish his memories daughters, Alissia Rives, Valarie Rives, Miriya Rives all of Clarksville, TN and Victoria Rives, Memphis, TN; sons, Demetruis (Florence) Rives, Clarksville, TN; mother, Carrie E. Rives, Clarksville, TN; sisters, Emma Rives, Clarksville, TN, Barbara (LeRoy) Clark, Southside, TN and Elizabeth (Kenneth) Herring, Columbus, GA; brother, Howard (Barbara) Rives, Clarksville, TN and 7 grandchildren; aunts, Shirley Norfleet; uncle, Carl (Brenda) Ligon, Clarksville, TN and a host of family and friends.
