Mashona Eyvette Bracy Bowen began her earthly journey on December 14, 1971, in Fort Campbell, KY to loving parents, Alice Marie Bracy Wisdom and Alonzo Julian Oldham.

Mashona accepted Christ and was baptized at the early age of 9 at Mount Pisgah Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of Rev. Thomas Ligon where she remained as an active member for 38 years serving as a VBS Teacher, Adult and Youth Choir President/Director, Choir Member, and Assistant Financial Secretary while there. She became a member of the Mount Olive Missionary Baptist Church in 2018 and sang in the choir until she fell ill.

Mashona received her primary education from the Clarksville Montgomery County School System and was a 1990 graduate of Clarksville High School. She obtained an Associate’s of Science Degree as a Healthcare Technician; over her working years she worked as a Certified Nursing Assistant, Medical Assistant, CMCSS Bus Driver, and ended her working years as a call center representative at Agero in 2020.

Mashona enjoyed cooking with and for her family, laughing and joking, traveling, and quartet musicals.

Mashona is preceded in death by her husband Clifford L. Bowen and grandmother Ada M. Bracy.

Mashona leaves to cherish her memories her 5 children who she affectionately referenced as her “Fabulous 5” Shanika (MonQuez) Maupin, Anthony (Kededra) Ward Jr., Jasmine Tate, Briyonna Henry, and Brishawn Ward. Her parents Alice (Charles) Wisdom and Alonzo (Ollie) Oldham. 5 grandchildren Kadyn Ward, Deitrick Maupin, Landris Maupin, Avianna Ward, Khamiyah Ward. Siblings Jamaal (Jennifer) Oldham, Charles Wisdom Jr., and Nashea Wisdom. Her nieces Jada Oldham and Jordan Oldham as well as a host of bonus nieces and nephews, adopted children, brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law. Her aunt Delores Gupton and uncles Pastor John (Willie Mae) Ewing and Samuel (Cheryl) Bracy; and her devoted lifelong best friend Nicole Barber.
