Mary M. Parham Stewart

Age 88 of Clarksville passed away Tuesday, August 17, 2021. Visitation Monday, August 23, 2021 12:00 p.m.-7:00 p.m. with the family present 5:00 p.m.-7:00 p.m. at Foston Funeral Home. Homegoing Celebration 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, August 24, 2021 at Foston Memorial Chapel. Interment Kentucky Veterans Cemetery West, Hopkinsville, KY.

Mary was born March 7, 1933 in Montgomery County to Charlie Parham, Sr and Dorothy Mae Medley Parham. She was a faithful life long member of St. John Missionary Baptist Church. Mary was preceded in death by her husband, Charles R. Stewart, daughter, Bertha L. Quarles and parents.
She leaves to cherish her loving memories sons, Lee W. (Margaret S.)Quarles, Jr., Cedric A. Gibson, Fredric R. Gibson all of Clarksville, TN and Marvin L. (Judy) Quarles, Christiana, TN; sister, Floyde Batson; aunt, Shirley M. Johnson; uncle, William Medley, 16 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren, 12 great great grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.
