Keith Lamont, son to Josephine Ogburn Waller and Ike Rufus Garrett was born on December 13, 1975 in Clarksville, Tennessee. His sister, LaTonya Tomikia Garrett; grandparents: Jodie and Cezar Ogburn and Jessie and Ethel Garrett and dear friend, Latoya Morrow-Mason proceeded him in death. He accepted Jesus Christ as his personal Lord and Savior, was baptized on June 7, 2015 and became a member of St. Paul Missionary Baptist Church. He was educated in the Clarksville-Montgomery County School System and was a graduate of Northeast High School with the Class of 1995. He was self-employed serving as Mr. Fix-It-All/The Handyman. “KG” as he was affectionately called by those who knew and loved him. He was someone you definitely wanted on your team! He loved spending time with time with and walking his dog/best friend, Sasha! friends. He enjoyed mowing yards, playing cards and dominoes, BBQing and smoking meat. He will be sorely missed. On Wednesday, July 13, 2022, Keith departed this life and entered into eternal peace. He leaves precious memories to be cherished by his devoted mother, Josephine Ogburn Waller, Guthrie, KY; father, Ike Rufus Garrett, Clarksville, TN; sons: Keishawn Garrett, Indianapolis, IN, Neondre Watson, Kyindo Garrett, Kyondre Garrett and Konye Watson, all of Tuscaloosa, AL; grandchildren: Kayden Garrett, Kensley Garrett, Journee Garrett and Kalila Garrett; sisters: Monic Ogburn and Kisa Thomas; brothers: Shawn Latimore, Shane Latimore, all of Clarksville, TN, Marico (Lori) Day and Preston (Jessica) Day, all of Bombay, FL; aunts: Ruth Fort, Roberta Allen, Lucille Darden, Lorsie Carney, Schelese Lewis Ogburn, Bertha (Mark) Johnson, Ella Jenkins, Deborah (Wesley) Good and Sonya Garrett; uncles: Eugene (Linda) Ogburn, Charles Edward (Linda) Ogburn, Donald Ray (Ruby) Ogburn, Roy Dean Ogburn, W. L. Ogburn, J. L. Ogburn, John Ogburn, Harold (Mary) Ogburn, Raymond Ogburn, Joseph Ogburn and Harold (Ruby) Garrett. Godparents: Martha Latimore, Regina Day, Shirley Porter and Ricky Lee Moss; god-brother, Terrance Brooks; god-sister, Chanelle Green; special friends: Latesha Watford and a host of nephews, nieces, cousins and friends.
Visitation Saturday, July 23, 2022 11:00 a.m.-1:00p.m. with the funeral service to follow at 1:00 p.m. at Foston Funeral Home.
