Jeffrey Pearson

Jeffrey Alan Pearson began his earthly journey on June 16, 1955, son  to James Avery and Carrie Mae Pearson in Morganton, NC. He was called from his earthly home on November 9, 2030.  His parents, brother, Thomas Pearson; sister, Mary L. Pearson and grandmother, Florence Pearson preceded him in death.

He accepted Christ as his personal Lord and Savior at an early age and after serving in the military, relocated to Clarksville, TN where he attended Faith Outreach Church.

Jeffrey was educated in the Morganton Public School System where he was a graduate of Freedom High School. He served in the US Army as Administrative Specialist and later as  a Military Policeman. He was awarded the Army Service Ribbon; National Defense Service Medal (2); Expert Badge M-16 Rifle; NCO Professional Development Ribbon (3); Good Conduct Medal; Army Reserve Component Achievement Medal (2) and Sharpshooter Badge .45 Caliber Pistol. His overseas tours of duty included Operation Desert Shield/Storm in 1991 before retiring. After his release from the Army, he continued his vocational education at Austin Peay State University. He enjoyed employment with T-RAD Corporation as a forklift operator before retiring a second time.

He loved spending time with his family and friends. He was an avid motorcyclist who loved racing and leisurely riding. He was an original member of the Road Runners & Night Stalkers Motorcycle Club. All who knew and loved him will sorely miss his presence and smiling face.

He leaves to cherish his memory, son, Robert Alan Pearson, Statesville, NC; three grandchildren: Yazmine Pearson, Raelynn Pearson and Robert A.  “BJ” Pearson, Jr.,; sister: Susan Pearson, Charlotte, NC; brothers: Andrew Pearson and Stacy Ellis, both of Morganton, NC; aunt, Catherine Pearson; uncle, Richard Pearson and a host of other relatives and friends.
