Visitation Friday, September 16, 2016 12:00 noon-7:00 p.m. with the family present 5:00 p.m.-7:00 p.m. Funeral service 12:00 noon Saturday, September 17, 2016 at Concord Missionary Baptist Church. Burial Concord Memorial Garden. She was born January 5, 1944 in Montgomery County to Joe L. Allen and Inis Meriwether Allen, whom precede her in death. She leaves to cherish her loving memory, husband, Marvin A. Porter; daughters, Juanita Porter and Carolyn Porter (Ryan) Dyson; son, Marvin Porter, Jr;grandchildren, Charles Smauldon, Dominic Porter, Shaneese Porter, Ryan Dyson, Jr, LaKesha Dyson and Joshua Dyson; great grandchildren, Xia Wilson, Amelia Dyson and Nicolas Porter; sister, Rose Mary (Guy Hunt), Haynes; brothers, Joe L. (Nancy) Allen, Jr, Edward(Frieda) Allen and Jerry R. (Linda) Allen and a host of nieces, nephews and family and friends.
