Geraldine Ogburn

Age 88 of Clarksville went to be with the Lord on Monday, October 4, 2021. Visitation Friday, October 15, 2021 12:00 p.m.-7:00 p.m. with the family present 5:00 p.m.-7:00 p.m. at Foston Funeral Home. Homegoing Celebration 1:00 p.m. Saturday, October 16, 2021 at New Hope Missionary Baptist Church. Interment Rossview Cemetery.
Mrs. Geraldine was born May 15, 1933 in Christian County, Kentucky to Mary Shanklin Poindexter and James Waller Ross. She was devoted member of New Hope Missionary Baptist Church, she retired from Trane Co. in 1995. Mrs. Geraldine is preceded in death by her husband, John R. Ogburn, Jr, daughter, Threasa L. Combs, grandson, Robert D. Hooks-Combs, parents and sister, Lorene Irvin.
She leaves to cherish her loving memories daughters, Waulnetta ( Frank) Dowlen, Cassandra O. Miller and Brenda D. Ogburn; son-in-law, Darryl A. Combs, all of Clarksville, TN; godson, Freddie Osborne, Nashville, TN, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
