Evelyn Harris

age 79 of Clarksville, passed away Tuesday, May 24, 2016. Visitation Saturday, May 28, 2016 12:00 noon-7:00 p.m. with the family present 5:00 p.m.-7:00 p.m. at Foston Funeral Home. Funeral service 2:00 p.m. Sunday, May 29, 2016 at Walnut Grove Missionary Baptist Church. She was born March 17, 1937 in Frog Jump, TN to the late Justice W. Dupree and Lula S. Howard Dupree. She retired from Clarksville Montgomery County School System. She is preceded in death by her son, James R. Harris, Jr, sisters, Martha E. Dupree, Emma L. Lundy and Shirley J. Dupree. She leaves to cherish her loving memory children, Ernest W. Taylor-Harris, Theresa H. Jackson, Janice L. Ingle, Michael W. Harris and Jocelyn Renee Harris; sister, Izetta (John) Dowdell; brothers, Charles W. Dupree, Melvin C. Dupree and Odell (Ruby) Dupree and 11 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
