Evelyn Carter

age 103 of Clarksville passed away Wednesday, December 7, 2016 at Cornerstone Healthcare of Palmyra. Celebration of Life Memorial Service 2:00 p.m. Sunday, December 11, 2016 at Foston Funeral Memorial Chapel. She was preceeded in death by her husband Retired Major Nathaniel Carter who taught at Historic Burt High School and Clarksville High School. Mr and Mrs. Carter were dedicated workers for the Democratic National Committee. She was a homemaker and a member of Mount Zion Missionary Baptist Church of Round Pond. She leaves to cherish her wonderful memories Mount Zion Missionary Baptist Church family.
