Eugene "Charlie" Williams

Eugene " Charlie" age 81 of Clarksville passed away Tuesday, June 14, 2022, at Tennova Healthcare. Viewing Monday, June 20, 2022, 12:00 p.m.-7:00 p.m. with the family present 5:00 p.m.-7:00 p.m. at Foston Funeral Home. Celebration of Life 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, June 21, 2022, at St. Paul AME Church, Oakwood, TN. Interment Casey Cemetery, Oakwood, TN.
Charlie was born July 31, 1940, in Woodlawn, TN to James Andrew Williams and Leah F. Overton Williams. Charlie retired from Murray County School System, where he was a History Teacher. He proudly served in the United States Army. He  is preceded in death by his wife Shirley Foster Williams and parents.
Charlie leaves to cherish memories his children, Keith (Sheteka) Crawford, Lathette Foster, Eric (Vzea) Foster, Corbin (Deborah) Foster and Andre (Sonia) Foster; grandchildren, Kayla Crawford, Layla Crawford, Laron Crawford, Ericka Foster, LaKeshia Foster, Kenny Foster and Jalen Foster; sister, Mary Alice Crosslin; brother, Hyburnia Williams, a host of nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
