Erva Rogers

Erva Jean, daughter to the late Eugene Edward Rogers and Estella Long Rogers, began her earthly journey in Clarksville, Tennessee on Saturday, June 30, 1951. In addition to her parents, her son, Keith Lamont Rogers; brothers: Donald Wayne Northington, Leonard E. Rogers, aka “Bunk” preceded her in death.

She was an active member of Family of Faith Worship Center until failing health prevented her attending in person.

Erva Jean received her formal education in the Clarksville-Montgomery County School System where she attended and graduated from the Historic Burt High School Class of 1969.

She loved her family and spending time with them. She loved taking care of all the babies, cooking and cleaning. All who knew and loved her will sorely miss her presence and beautiful smile.

On Sunday, February 23,2025, Erva Jean departed this life to be with the Lord.

She leaves precious memories to be cherished and shared by her grandson, Kristopher Rogers; great-grandchild, Haisley Rogers; sisters: Virginia (Bert) Vance, Clarksville, TN and Genella Rogers (Salem Boyce), Nashville, TN; brother, Mark (Angie) Rogers, Murfreesboro, TN; aunt, Margaret Green; uncle, Charles Kelly Long; devoted cousins, Kristie Long, Micheal (Valerie) Long, Zea, Makayla, Micheal, Garrett and Mabry; nieces, Monica Entzminger, Kitana Boyce, Keely Rogers and Keirra Rogers nephews, cousins and friends.
