Emma Mitchell

Emma Mitchell passed away peacefully surrounded by family at home on September 10, 2021 at age of 77. Emma was a loving mother, caring and generous woman. She enjoyed cross stitch and painting. She has always had a strong work ethics at an early age. Working in a hospital as a candy striper. She continued to work as Head of Environment Services for West Side, Baptist, and Centennial Hospitals, until she retired after 36 years of service. Emma is preceded in death by her son, William "Pee Wee" Wilson and her parents William and Zena Mitchell. She leaves to cherish her loving memories daughters, Katina Bass and Madeline Boyd; sons, George Wilson, Gary, Lonnie and Timothy Boyd; grandchildren, Tiare, Brien Boyd, Kerry (Sabrina) Howard and Katia Montal 7 great grandchildren. Emma wishes to spend eternity among the seas, so her ashes will be spread at an ocean at a later date.
