Darlene Bailey

Darlene began life’s journey on April 4, 1959 to the parentage of the Leonard Bailey Sr., and Vearline Golliday Bailey, in Tennessee. She is preceded in death by her parents and siblings,  Gloria Bailey and Leonard Bailey, Jr.

She grew up in Tennessee. At an early age, she confessed her life to Christ as her Lord and personal Savior. Later in life she decided to relocate and resided in Anniston, AL for more than thirty years, there she made many friends and touched many lives.

She had a beautiful heart and soul. Darlene  was strong, even when she was spiritually low. She was sweet, joyful and always full of life. She would give you the tightest hugs and a smile that would brighten a room. She will be truly missed.

On Tuesday, November 10, 2020, she answered the Master’s call peacefully in the care of  Regional Medical Center, Anniston, AL. God in His special way, at His perfect time picked from our midst this sweet soul and added her to His heavenly garden, where her spirit will bloom forever. She leaves to cherish her loving memories her loving sisters, Dorothy Sebree, Brenda Bailey, both of Clarksville, TN, Annie Lucille (Joel) Wilbur, Saint Lucie, FL, Carolyn Bailey, Clinton, MS and Zula Mae Bailey, Russellville, KY, and a host of loving nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, cousins, God-children and friends
