Daniel Newton, Jr

Daniel Franklin, Jr., was born to loving parents, Daniel Franklin Newton, Sr., and Vanessa Whittaker on February 8, 1981 in Glen Cove, New York. His grandparents, Mary Newton, Alexander Whittaker and aunt, Sabrina Seaman preceded him in death. He was educated in the Clarksville-Montgomery County School System and was a graduate of Northwest High School with the Class of 1999. He was employed with Hankook Tire Company. “Spank”, as he was affectionately called, was a loving son, father, brother, uncle and nephew who loved hanging out with his family and being the life of the party. He enjoyed basketball and football. All who knew and loved him will sorely miss his presence. On Wednesday, June 15, 2022, Daniel, Jr., departed this life. He leaves to cherish precious memories his daughter, Kerianna Lynch, Mount Juliet, TN; son, Daniel Quentez Newton; step son,  Lorenzo "Zoe” Poindexter; mother, Vanessa Whittaker; father, Daniel F. Newton, Sr., Detroit, MI; sister, Quinese Whittaker; brothers, Rashad Whittaker,  Shakim Whittaker, Justin  Daniel and Elijah Daniel Newton, Glen Cove, NY; grandparents, Arnethia (Robert) Stepp; aunts: Cecelia Washington, Yolanda (Donald Ray) McGee, Shaveida Williams, Kimberly Mays, Tanika Whittaker; uncles, Howard Williams, Thomas (Sheila) Williams, Michael Britt, Johnny (Carolyn) Newton and Troy Seaman and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins  and friends.
