Charles Andrew Crouch was born May 24, 1939 in Clarksville, Tennessee to Ulius “Red” Crouch and Frances West Crouch. In addition to his parents, his sister, Margaret Marie Crouch Keesee precedes him in death.
Charles “Andrew” accepted Christ as his personal Savior at an early age was a member of Martin Chapel African Methodist Episcopal Church.
He attended the Historical Burt High School and after leaving high school, he enlisted in the United States Army and served with the 82nd Airborne Division.
Charles loved learning about new technology and attended ITT Tech where he held several degrees. He worked for many years with Skinner’s TV and Appliances until he retired. All who knew and loved him will sorely miss his presence.
On Friday, May 5, 2017, Charles answered God’s beckoning call to cease from his labors and entered into eternal rest.
He leaves to cherish his memories daughter, Ann Marie Crouch (Arthur) Nash, grandchildren: Anyse Marie Nash, Angelique Sherrie Nash, Ayanna Lee Nash and Durrel Talmadge Freeman; great-grandchildren: Leiah Hunt, Jaleel Hunt, Dana Robinson and Kayla Freeman, all of Detroit, Michigan. Sisters: Mattie E. Pleasants and Barbara J. (Carey) Ogburn; brothers: Garland E. (Queen) Crouch and Theo (Lena) Crouch, all of Clarksville, Tennessee, and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends
