Apostle Harold Kenneth Browning, Sr., was born on Saturday, August 16, 1958 in Atlanta, Georgia and was raised by the late Minister Mildred Browning and Reverend Jacob Browning. On Tuesday, March 18, 2025, our beloved Apostle was called home to be with the Lord.
With over 20 years of military service in the US Army, Overseer Apostle Browning ministered both across the United States and internationally, transcending denominational boundaries. During his military career he served as Interim Pastor of various churches while stationed overseas. After having many dreams and visions, the Lord lead Overseer Apostle Harold Browning to birth Faith Ministries Inc. In September 1994, the vision was launched from his family room along with five other families. As the vision grew, he soon became known to many as a spiritual father.
In March of 2013, Apostle Browning founded the Global Network of Christian Churches (GNCC), a mentoring and support network designed to equip the next generation of Christian leaders worldwide. He considered one of his greatest passions to be his role as a mentor and spiritual guide, while creating a deep connection with others and their ability to nurture spiritual growth.
Overseer Apostle Browning was married to his loving wife, Prophetess Gwendolyn E. Browning, for over 42 years, and together they have three children and ten grandchildren. He studied and earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Theology from Andersonville Theological Seminary (ATS). Apostle always remained a faithful student of the Word.
He leaves to cherish his memory a wife, Prophetess Gwendolyn E. Browning; sons: Illia (Kayla) Cole, Harold (Fairlen) Browning, Jr., Timothy (Azuree) Browning; grandchildren: Tymon, Asha, Trinity, Alijanae, Amberese, Hannah, Eli, A’Mir, Abigail, Josiah, and a host of spiritual sons and daughters. Siblings: Gail Grant, Willie (Ella) Browning, Anthony (Denise) Browning, Michael (Rosa) Browning, Brigetta (Frank) Middlebrooks, and Audrey Browning.
Apostle Harold K. Browning, Sr., will be remembered as a faithful servant of God, loving husband, father, grandfather, spiritual father, and friend.
