Anna K. Brewer

age 94 of Clarksville passed away Sunday, May 14, 2017 at Grace Healthcare of Clarksville. Visitation Friday, May 19, 2017 12:00 noon-7:00 p.m. with the family present 5:00 p.m.-7:00 p.m. at Foston Funeral Home. Celebration of Life 11:00 a.m. Saturday, May 20, 2017 at Concord Missionary Baptist Church. Burial Concord Memorial Garden. She was born October 27, 1922 in Clarksville, TN to Frank Merriweather and Elizabeth Pettus Merriweather. She is preceded in death by her husband James A. Brewer, children Thelma Ann Liggins and James Howard Brewer and her parents. She was a member of Concord Missionary Baptist Church, where she was on the Mother's Board, a Sunday School Instructor and a member of the Ladies Chorus and Mass Choir. She leaves to cherish her loving memories daughter, Sandra Kay Meriwether; stepson, Andrew Kelly Brewer and 19 grandchildren and a host of great grandchildren and great great grandchildren and nieces, Barbara Dean Bowers and Catherine Dowdy and other family and friends.
