Albert Majors

Age 89 of Adams passed away Thursday, January 24, 2019. Visitation Friday, February 1, 2019 2:00 p.m.-7:00 p.m. with the family present 5:00 p.m.- 7:00 p.m. at Nevels Chapel Missionary Baptist Church, with Masonic Rites at 6:00 p.m. Funeral service 11:00 a.m. Saturday, February 2, 2019 at Nevels Chapel Missionary Baptist Church. Interment Resthaven Memorial Gardens with military honors. He was born May 15, 1929 in Ashland City to Robert Franklin Majors and Mary Bell Carney. He is preceded in death by his parents, sisters, Hattie Majors- Holland and Anna Majors-Hudgens and brother, Lincoln Majors. He was a the oldest member of Nevels Chapel where he served on the Deacons Board and Male Chorus. He leaves to cherish his memories loving and devoted wife of 68 years, Elizabeth Cage Majors; god daughter, Kourdja L. Wallace;god grandson, Xavier L. Delong all of Adams, TN; sister, Carnell (John Walter) Majors-Williams, Pleasantview, TN, Elizabeth Sherlene Majors-Chambers, Springfield, TN, Aretha (Bobby) Majors- Land, Union, S.C. and Daisey Majors-Speights, Nashville, TN and a host of family and friends.
